Takara Teppanyaki (Johor Bahru)
We went to Johor Bahru's Sunway Big Box Retail Park for a movie and a meal, but there were limited dining options here. So we tried this teppanyaki place with low expectations - and it turned out pretty good!

I'd recommend this dish as the beef was so juicy! And you can't go wrong with caramelised onions. I love that it comes with vegetables as side dishes of the day, making it a balanced meal.

The menu already stated that this would take at least 15 minutes of waiting time, so we were okay with that. But I felt like the chicken was a little overcooked - definitely not as juicy as the beef belly slices, so this was meh. Flavour-wise, I much preferred the beef with onions too.
We upgraded each dish by RM10 to get the "All in One Set", which allows us to refill (one time) white rice, soup of the day, and cold kimchi. But we got so full that we didn't refill 😅
Overall it was a tasty meal!
