NYE Dining in Sentosa Island Without Breaking the Bank
We did the NYE countdown and stayed another night on Sentosa Island. Since food around the RWS area was quite expensive, we had to look for more affordable options.
Fortunately, we found Little Farms on the other side of the island, which was relatively cheaper, and we had these for our New Year's Dinner:
🍲 Chef's Soup of the Day
sourdough or gluten-free bread
💸 SGD 12
⭐⭐ 2/5
The soup of the day was carrot & tomato soup. I was a little disappointed at the first sip as it tasted quite bland. However, the staff explained that Little Farms emphasizes the freshness of their ingredients, which I understood, and they kindly offered some salt and pepper. Still, I think I would’ve preferred a soup that comes with proper seasoning.
🍖 Ribeye Steak
grass-fed ribeye 300g (AUS), steak salt, hand-cut wedges, garden wall salad
💸 SGD 49
⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 5/5
This was a pleasant surprise as the steak (medium rare) was juicier than I expected and well-seasoned. Salad and wedges were pretty decent too!
🍔 Smash Burger
grass-fed beef (AUS), cheese, sriracha mayo, brioche bun, shoestring fries
💸 SGD 28
⭐⭐⭐ 3/5
There was a slightly strange taste in the patty, possibly from either the beef or the cheese, which I wasn't too fond of. The patty was also on the drier side as well. But the fries were good, though.
Overall, the Ribeye Steak is the star of the meal and is recommended. Plus, a special shout-out for the friendly customer service! :)
