🧇 Maple & Butter Waffles
💸 SGD 10.50
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 / 5
The waffles were so good!! Crunchy on the outside, yet chewy and fluffy on the inside. Lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with two cubes of butter and maple syrup. Simple, fragrant and delicious.
☕ Latte (Mr. Cuddles – the default coffee beans)
💸 SGD 5.30 (not including +1.10 for iced)
⭐⭐⭐ 3.8 / 5
The latte was smooth, with a lingering, slightly acidic aftertaste. I usually don't enjoy sourness in my coffee, but this wasn't bad - it felt refreshing at the end of each sip.
But the iced latte somehow accentuated the acidity much more than the hot latte. It was too sour for my liking, so I preferred the hot one.
I had the Breakfast Sammie here a while back and really enjoyed that too. Overall it's a nice cafe and I'd love to return and try more dishes.
