Coexist Coffee Co. (Pasir Panjang)
On a Saturday morning after tennis, my friend and I headed to Coexist Coffee Co. in Pasir Panjang for brunch. I’ve visited the Hillview outlet before and really enjoyed the dishes (especially the Thai Krabby Toastie, which was a limited‑time special). Here’s my review of the Hillview outlet: https://www.themorninggazette.org/posts/coexist-coffee-co-hillview.
We picked the Pasir Panjang outlet partly because I recently downloaded the Blue Rewards app and noticed a 1‑for‑1 deal for Coexist Coffee Co. That's a pretty good deal, since cafe food is quite pricey!
After scanning the menu, here’s what we ordered:
🥪 Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Sourdough, Colby Jack, Pepper Jack, Mozzarella, Mesclun, Herbed Potatoes, Tomato Soup
💸SGD 20.00
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
Easily the highlight of the day. When served hot, the sourdough is crisp yet chewy, with just the right amount of cheese. It’s great on its own, but even better with the tomato soup. Sipped alone or dipped with the sandwich, it’s a comfort combo I’d happily return for. It was my friend’s favorite too.
🥖 Braised Beef Baguette
Baguette, Braised Brisket, Garlic Aioli, Fries, Homemade Pickles
💸 SGD 20.00 (Free with the Blue Rewards 1‑for‑1 deal)
⭐⭐ 2.8/5
Unfortunately, this fell short of my expectations. While the braised brisket was tender and juicy, the garlic aioli was a little too strong. The flavours of the pickles and aioli overwhelmed the beef's, and the elements didn't quite complement each other.
☕ White Coffee
Double Espresso, Water (8 oz)
Nights Out Coffee Beans (Colombia, PNG, Guatemala)
💸 SGD 5.50
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
I asked for beans choice that wasn’t too acidic and was recommended the Nights Out blend. It was smooth, balanced, and exactly my kind of coffee.
🍵 Hojicha
💸 SGD 6.00
Skipping the rating here as I’m not a big hojicha fan and don’t love the grainy texture. My friend enjoyed the drink, though!
The interior leans heavily into stainless steel - from the tables to the cups and cutlery. It looks cool and aesthetic, but I felt our dishes cooled a bit faster because of it. 😅
The 1‑for‑1 deal at Coexist Pasir Panjang applies to the brunch menu only, but everything sounds tempting:
Dish | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
COEXIST BREAKFAST | SGD 26 | Sourdough, sauteed mushrooms, herbed potatoes, roasted tomato, chicken bratwurst sausage, choice of eggs (scrambled, sunny‑side‑up, sous vide) |
GUAC TOAST | SGD 17 | Brioche, guacamole mix, basil cherry tomatoes, feta |
SMOKED SALMON TOAST | SGD 20 | Sourdough, smoked salmon, dill yogurt, pickled onion, mesclun |
BRAISED BEEF BAGUETTE | SGD 20 | Baguette, braised brisket, garlic aioli, fries, homemade pickles |
SURF & TURF | SGD 18 | Chee Chong Fun, tiger prawn, chicken char siew, laksa sauce, scrambled egg, fried shallot |
GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH | SGD 20 | Sourdough, Colby Jack, Pepper Jack, Mozzarella, mesclun, herbed potatoes, tomato soup |
CHICKEN WAFFLE | SGD 25 | Belgian waffle, buttermilk fried chicken, maple syrup (15–20 min wait) |
The 1‑for‑1 deals run until 30 Dec 2026, including the Hillview outlet, plus plenty of other cafes and restaurants. Check it out with my referral link here.
That said, I’d return even without the offer. The grilled cheese alone is worth a repeat visit - and there are still plenty of dishes on the menu I'd like to try.
