Jeong's Jjajang
🍜 Jjajangmyeon
💸 $13.00 (not including +$5 for large, + $1.50 for fried egg)
⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 5/5
I love the chewy texture of the noodles at Jeong's Jajjang!! And how rich the sauce was. I'm a big fan of jjajangmyeon, so I might be a little biased, but I've had those with the strange alkaline taste from yellow noodles before - and that is NOT the case here.
The only downside (subjective, some might say it's good 😆) is that the portion is quite generous. So in hindsight, we (2 pax) probably didn’t need to add $5 for the large size.
🥟 Jjinmandu
💸 $13.00
⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 5/5
I’m not usually a huge fan of pork-and-vegetable dumplings (I’m more of a xiaolongbao person), but I was genuinely surprised by how juicy these dumplings were!
Again, the only downside is the dumplings were HUGE and it comes in 6 pieces, so we got a bit too full towards the end.
Overall, the food here was delicious, and I’d definitely return. Remember to sign up as a member when you order through their QR there - seems like there's a discounted price compared to guests.
I’d love to try the tangsuyuk next time! 🤤
