SYIP (Farrer Park) is a minimalistic-looking cafe that serves good coffee and matcha. They serve brunch and main options too, but I've only tried their Sweet French Toast thus far.

⭐⭐⭐ 3/5

Would you look at this colourful and vibrant plate - doesn't it look so appetising?

Though, if I may, the flavours mainly came from the toppings (whipped cream, berry compote, caramelized bananas, almond flakes) and not from the toast. Without the topping, the toast tasted a little dry and bland on its own. A slightly crispier texture on the outside might have been better, too.

Dirty Matcha and Hojicha Latte

Hojicha Latte

💸 SGD 5.50

Skipping the rating for this as this was a throwback post and I couldn't remember the drinks in detail - I just remembered it has a grainy texture and is creamy, as one would expect from a cup of matcha or hojicha.
